SAYA Youth Visit Offices of Royal Bank of Canada

“On Tuesday, November 5th, I visited the offices of the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) with SAYA. During our visit, we listened to a panel with a few members of the firm. They described their backgrounds, and how they overcame obstacles while working toward this job. They also showed us how to overcome challenges we might face during job interviews, and gave advice like always have self confidence, and be flexible and enthusiastic. After the panel ended, we took a tour around the offices and were able to ask questions. 

When the tour ended, we sat and had conversations with some other RBC employees. The one-on-one discussions were fun because the people we spoke to were friendly and shared their personal experiences with us. After that, we played a game. 

After the visit, we had lunch by the water and visited the 9/11 reflection pool. I’m grateful to SAYA for taking us on this trip, and to the Royal Bank of Canada for taking time out of their busy schedule to have us there.”
